Design phase - planning with CLT
This house located in the Hamptons was designed by NYC based Selldorf Architects. HolzBuild worked closely with the architect during the design development and construction drawings process. The architect provided updated CAD files used to generate a detailed 3D Revit model. The project included all load-bearing wall panels above ground, floor and roof slabs, and interior wall partitions for a total of more than 400 panels and glulam beams.
This model was used in the end to generate the individual panel and glulam shop drawings. All machining done by CNC at the Binderholz plant in Austria.
